Terms of Service
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Direct Self Care website and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Direct Self Care ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Services
Direct Self Care provides a self-guided well-being assessment — the Wellness Wheel — along with related educational resources and clarity tools designed for physicians, dentists, and other clinicians. Our Services are intended for informational and educational purposes only.
Important Disclaimer — not medical or mental health care: Direct Self Care is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Wellness Wheel is a self-reflection tool, not a clinical screening, diagnostic, or assessment instrument, and its results are not a clinical finding of any kind. Nothing in the Services creates a provider–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any question regarding a medical or mental health condition, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or received through the Services.
If you are in crisis: Direct Self Care is not an emergency service and is not monitored. If you are in immediate danger or considering harming yourself, call 911, or call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States.
Not financial, tax, or legal advice: Direct Self Care does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and does not sell investments, insurance, or financial products. Where you choose to be introduced to a third-party provider or financial advisor, that party is solely responsible for the advice and services they provide to you, and Direct Self Care may receive compensation in connection with such introductions. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party content or services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIRECT SELF CARE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Any financial tools, calculators, or assessments provided through the Services are for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DIRECT SELF CARE, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

- Any content obtained from the Services
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Any financial decisions made based on information provided through the Services
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Direct Self Care and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Direct Self Care is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Direct Self Care regarding the use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
